We invite applications for a four-month 2nd year Master’s internship, potentially leading to a Ph.D. thesis position, in string cosmology (broadly defined) at IP2I (CNRS, UCBL), Lyon, under the supervision of Dimitrios Tsimpis. The internship and thesis will focus on various aspects of cosmological models derived from supergravity and string theory. The internship is expected to start on April 1st, 2026. Salary and computer equipment are funded by the ANR Grant DarES — a collaborative research project between Lyon and LAPTh (CNRS, USMB), Annecy — of which the selected candidate will be a member. The Ph.D. position is expected to start in September 2026, subject to funding approval by the PHAST doctoral school of Lyon, with the final decision expected in June.
