Expérimental Description
Raman spectroscopy is a workhorse of chemistry and materials science for tracking phase changes, chemical reactions and local structure. Compressive Raman imaging exploits concepts from computational microscopy to enhance chemical imaging. We have now developed a new strategy in compressive Raman tech, asynchronous Raman imaging reaching sensing speeds down to 100ns resolution. This is enabled by quantum resources which may allow to reach resolutions down to 1ps in the future. We aim at expanding the applications of this technology to other fields.
