Expérimental Description
Manipulating ion beams allows the study of many-body quantum dynamics in atomic collisions.
For several years, the ASUR team at INSP has been developing a crossed beam experiment to carry out ion-ion collisions. The goal is to measure the probabilities of electronic processes by controlling the number of electrons on each collision partner.
